1. Quick start
- Allow camera access when Swing Cricket asks.
- Place the phone securely in portrait orientation, approximately 1–2 metres away.
- Use a well-lit area and keep your full hand visible to the front camera.
- Wait for the tracking indicator, then swing your empty hand across the ball.
Swing Cricket is a camera motion game. Your phone camera tracks hand movement and turns it into bat control.
2. Camera and hand tracking
Camera permission denied
Open Android Settings → Apps → Swing Cricket → Permissions → Camera, then select Allow while using the app.
Hand not detected
Increase room lighting, avoid a bright window behind you, move farther from the phone and keep your whole hand in frame.
Tracking feels delayed
Close background apps and select Lite graphics in Swing Cricket settings. Lite uses smaller camera frames for faster tracking.
Camera preview is distracting
Turn off Camera window in settings. Tracking continues even when the preview window is hidden.
3. Graphics and performance
Swing Cricket provides three graphics choices:
- Auto: adapts to available device memory and frame performance.
- High: enables the full visual pipeline on capable phones.
- Lite: reduces rendering and camera-analysis cost for budget devices or more responsive tracking.
If the game closes unexpectedly, restart the device, install the latest Play Store version, close memory-heavy apps and try Lite mode. Include your phone model and Android version when contacting support.
4. Progress, settings and deletion
Career progress, high scores and settings are stored locally on the device. Swing Cricket does not currently provide cloud accounts or cross-device progress sync. Clearing app storage or uninstalling may remove progress.
For removal instructions, see Data deletion.
5. Play safely
Secure the phone, clear enough space to move and stay aware of nearby people and objects. Use an empty hand or a light, safe prop. Do not swing a real cricket bat near your phone, indoors or in a crowded area. Children should play with appropriate supervision.
6. Contact support
