Screenshot Brain support
A quicker route back to the things you saved.
Get started
- Take a screenshot containing readable text.
- Open Screenshot Brain and allow access to the screenshots you want to search.
- Let the app index images available locally, then search a word or browse a collection.
- Open a result and tap Smart text to inspect and copy recognized details.
Why is a screenshot missing?
Check Photos access in iOS Settings. With selected access, add the screenshots you want the app to read. The free tier indexes the newest 100 screenshots. iCloud-only originals must be available locally before indexing. Return to the app to refresh the library.
Why didn’t search find a word?
Text recognition depends on image quality, font, language, and layout. Try a distinctive word that is clearly visible. Blurred, tiny, decorative, or handwritten text may not be recognized accurately. Smart collections are inferred from recognized text and may be imperfect.
How do I copy a price, date, or link?
Open the screenshot, tap Smart text, and tap the copy control next to a recognized detail. Use Copy all for the full recognized text.
How do I erase the index?
Open Settings → Erase private index. This deletes the app’s local search index and pauses indexing. Your original photos remain in Photos. Use Resume indexing when you want to rebuild the index.
What does Pro include?
Monthly and yearly Pro memberships unlock unlimited screenshot indexing. Both plans provide the same indexing benefit. The price, billing period, and availability are shown in the app before purchase.
How do I restore a membership?
Open the Pro membership screen and choose Restore purchases while signed in to the Apple Account used for the original purchase. An active membership is required. If plans cannot load, check your connection and try again.
How do I cancel or request a refund?
Manage or cancel in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or open Apple subscription settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. For refund requests, visit Apple’s Report a Problem service.
