PlayByHand Support

Open your device’s privacy settings and allow camera access for PlayByHand. Close any other app using the camera, then restart PlayByHand. On desktop systems, check the Camera section under Privacy & Security.

No. Camera frames are processed locally to estimate hand position and are not recorded, uploaded, or shared by PlayByHand.

Use even front lighting, keep your hand roughly 0.5–1.5 metres from the camera, avoid a busy background, and keep your full hand visible. A palm facing the camera is easiest to detect.

The Android version may use banner and interstitial ads to support development. Interstitial ads should appear only at natural breaks, not during active gameplay or when exiting. See the Privacy Policy for information about AdMob and privacy choices.

If privacy options are required in your region, the Android version provides a Privacy Options control in its settings or menu. You can also manage ad personalization through Android settings and Google My Ad Center.

PlayByHand has no user account. Scores and settings are stored locally. Clear the App’s storage in system settings or uninstall it to remove that data. For a support email you previously sent, contact us and request deletion.

Close other camera-heavy applications, improve lighting, connect your device to power, and reduce background activity. Older hardware may process hand tracking at a lower frame rate.
