First model download

Connect to reliable Wi-Fi, keep the app open, and leave enough free storage. Once downloaded, that model can transcribe without a connection.

No speech detected

Confirm the video contains an audible voice track. Try the Balanced model for quiet speech or strong accents.

Storage

Open Settings and choose Delete Downloaded Models to reclaim space. The model can be downloaded again later.

Subscriptions

Use Restore Purchases in Settings when reinstalling or moving to another device signed into the same Apple ID.
