Data collection

Offline AI Auto Captions does not collect, sell, rent, or share personal data. The app contains no advertising SDK, analytics SDK, account system, or cross-app tracking.

Your media

Videos are selected through Apple’s system picker or Files interface. Caption generation, editing, subtitle creation, and video rendering occur locally on your device. We do not receive your video, audio, captions, filenames, or exports.

Model downloads

A network connection is required to download an on-device speech recognition model. The request is made to the model hosting service used by the bundled open-source transcription framework. The model is cached locally and can be deleted in Settings. Your media is not included in model-download requests.

Purchases

Apple processes subscriptions and restores. We do not receive your complete payment details. Apple may provide transaction status needed to unlock Pro features.

Local storage

The app stores downloaded models, purchase entitlement state supplied by Apple, and a local daily free-use count. Removing the app deletes its local app data.

Children

The app is a general-purpose media tool and does not knowingly collect information from children.
