Data collection
Offline Photo Restorer does not collect, sell, share, or transmit personal data. The app does not include analytics, advertising, tracking, authentication, or cloud-processing SDKs.
Photos
Photos selected from Photos or Files, and photos captured with Camera, are processed locally on your device. They are not uploaded to BytesWeavers or any third party.
Face data and on-device face processing
Offline Photo Restorer does not collect face data. When you enable Face Restore, Apple Vision detects face bounding boxes in the photo you selected, and the bundled GFPGAN model processes temporary face crops to create restored pixels. The app does not perform face recognition, identify a person, create a biometric template, or infer identity.
Face bounding boxes, temporary face crops, and model outputs are used only on your device to locate, restore, and blend faces into the selected photo. They are not transmitted to BytesWeavers, Apple through this app, or any other third party; they are not sold, shared, used for advertising, analytics, tracking, authentication, or profiling; and they are never stored on a BytesWeavers server.
Temporary face bounding boxes and crops remain in device memory only while the restoration is running and are released when processing finishes or the app closes. BytesWeavers retains face data for zero days. A restored photo is stored only when you explicitly save or share it, and you control and may delete that output from the destination you selected.
Permissions
Camera access is requested only when you choose to capture a photo. Photo Library access is used only to select source images or save restored results at your request. Files access is controlled by Apple's file picker.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple through StoreKit. BytesWeavers does not receive your payment-card details. Apple may process purchase information under its own privacy policy.
Children
The app does not knowingly collect information from children or any other user.
